• The Effectiveness of the Six-Dimensional Strategy in Teaching Physics and Developing Scientific Processes among Second-Year Intermediate School Students

  The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of using the sixdimensional strategy in teaching physics and the regular method in developing science processes among female students in the second intermediate year, The researcher intentionally chose the research sample, which is (Al-Azhar Middle School for Girls)/ General Directorate of Education in Dhi Qar/ Qalaat Sukkar Education Department for the academic year (2024 - 2025), The researcher used an experimental design with an experimental group and a control group that were equivalent in a number of variables (first semester grades, previous information, chronological age in months, intelligence, and parents’ academic achievement). The study sample consisted of (37) female students, with (15) female students in the experimental group and (17) female students in the control group after excluding (5) female students who were behind academically (failing), The researcher built a science operations test consisting of (27) items that were characterized by validity and reliability. It was applied to the original research sample and the data was processed statistically using a t-test for two independent samples using (SPSS) version (21), The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental research groups and the control group in testing the science processes and in favor of the experimental group, The researcher reached the conclusion that “the female students of the experimental group who studied physics using the six-dimensional strategy outperformed the female students of the control group who studied the same subject according to the six-dimensional strategy”, The researcher presented a number of recommendations, the most important of which is “using the six-dimensional strategy in teaching physics to the second intermediate grade because of its ability to develop science processes and predict what will happen in the future to solve physics problems”, Some of the proposals include: “The effectiveness of using the six-dimensional strategy in developing scientific orientation and its relationship to inclination toward teaching science”.
