Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reality of the application of
electronic administration in basic schools in Qalqilya Governorate from the
perspectives of principals. The researchers used the descriptive analytical
method due to its relevance to the nature of this study, the researchers
developed a questionnaire consisted of (27) items distributed over the five
fields. The community of the study consisted of (78) principals, and the
questionnaire was distributed to them electronically, and (56) questionnaires were retrieved. The results of the study showed that the responses of school principals to the reality of applying electronic management in government schools in Qalqilya governorate were “high” in all fields by the percentage (79.22%). The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the principals due to demographic variables towards the reality of applying electronic management in government schools, the results also showed that there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (α = 0.05) due to the sex variable on the field of technology employment, and it came in favor of males. The study recommended the importance of prior scientific preparation for the transition to an electronic practical management system, as well as providing government and society support for the transition from traditional to electronic management.
