Degree of structural and architectural Ergonomics requirements in Rosary Sisters Schools in Jordan

This study aimed at defining the availability degree of structural
and architectural Ergonomics requirements in Rosary Schools in Jordan. The
study was implemented on a sample of teachers and administrators in Rosary
Schools, where the total number of the study individuals was (180), the
descriptive survey method was used since it is the best method that achieves
the aims of the study.
The researchers developed a questionnaire consisting of (12) items belonging to the aspect of the special structural and architectural ergonomics. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were verified, and it was distributed to the study sample randomly, and processed statistically.
The results revealed that the degree of availability of structural and
architectural Ergonomics requirements in Rosary Schools in Jordan was of a medium degree.
In light of the results of the study, the researchers recommended making some adjustments to the elements of the physical environment in order to meet the requirements of human engineering (Ergonomics), in addition to conducting awareness and training courses pertaining to it, and taking into account the principles of ergonomics when purchasing furniture and computers, and when expanding the school building too.
