Educational Curricula in UAE Primary Schools: Between Promoting Moral Education and Enhancing Sustainable Development – An Analytical Study

Abstract

 The study aims to research in the contents of the ethical education book in the UAE education curricula, by focusing on the topics on which he focuses and the values that he seeks to consolidate with the child, as well as extracting teaching methods and pillars that depend on it, within the goals of education for sustainable development, and the study adopted On the descriptive analytical approach and the content analysis tool, which consists of categories and units that have been identified in a manner consistent with the goals of the study. The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the ethical education book responds to the requirements of education for sustainable development, especially in terms of choosing the topics related to that, and the methods that focus on it, which are mainly in teaching in the style of discussion and activities to enhance the child's knowledge and develop his perceptions towards his environment and his general surroundings
