Abstract

In this paper, we will attempt to describe the practices associated with
integrating information and communication technologies (ICTs), while also
addressing the challenges posed by adaptive testing. We will employ a descriptive-analytical approach, identifying the motivations behind using ICTs
in assessment practices and the methods employed for their integration. We will also analyze how technology impacts the correction and assessment of
expression and composition skills, as well as the methods used to process
outputs related to these skills during automated correction. More specifically, we will detail how to develop software applications for automated correction of expression and composition skills, highlighting some of the most common ones.
Finally, we will present methods for verifying the reliability and validity of the
results obtained from these software programs in the assessment process.
