Abstract

This study aimed to examine the impact of school environment cleanliness on the quality of academic performance, behavioral development, and health outcomes in public schools within the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, as perceived by teachers. The research sample comprised (133) teachers, selected using a simple random sampling method. Employing an analytical-descriptive approach, the study found that the health-related domain received the highest mean score (4.45), followed by the behavioral domain (4.27), and finally, the academic domain (4.19), with an overall mean of (4.27), indicating a very high level of perceived impact. The findings further revealed no statistically significant differences in participants' responses based on gender, place of residence, specialization, years of experience, or behavioral assessments. However, statistically significant differences were observed concerning academic qualifications in the academic and health domains, favoring those with a master's degree or higher. These results underscore the critical role of maintaining cleanliness in school environments to enhance student well-being, behavior, and academic success.
